Choice Plus Housing Association vacancies will be advertised
online at http://www.homechoiceplus.org.uk/and
Council and Housing Associations offices.
Properties will be advertised on a weekly
basis, called a 'bidding cycle'. The week starts on a Tuesday and
continues until midnight the following Monday. You will be able to
view properties and express an interest on properties which are
suitable for you/your family's needs.
If you see a property you like, that you
qualify for and would like to be considered for, you 'bid' for it.
This can be done in a number of ways, such as: -
You can check which properties will be
advertised each week by calling the property line on 01386
565220. This line will have a pre-recorded message
advertising the properties available for that particular
week/cycle. This line will not take ‘bids’ or ‘messages’.
Each week you will be able to bid for a
maximum of three properties. At the end of the bidding cycle the
applicant with the longest waiting time and the greatest housing
need will be allocated the property.
