Walking and Cycling

Walking around Wychavon

Enjoy the delights of the Worcestershire countryside, not from the comfort of your car, but by walking along beautiful country lanes, that link one delightful village with the next. Feel the freedom of the acres of open countryside, with glorious views to the Cotswolds, the Malverns and Bredon Hill. To get the best from your walks in this attractive part of England, why not follow the Wychavon Way, a 42 mile walk that runs through Worcesteshire's Heritage Garden from Holt Fleet near Droitwich Spa, to Winchcombe where it joins up with the Cotswold Way.

This specially adapted walk passes through picturesque villages, across rivers, up hills and during Spring time through the famous Blossom Trail around the Vale of Evesham. If 42 miles seems too strenuous, why not try one of our circular walks suitable for all the family. The walks range 2.5 to 18 miles through some of the most attractive scenery Worcestershire has to offer.

Cycling around Wychavon

Worcesteshire's Heritage Garden, an area which typifies rural England, from the mellow Cotswolds to the ancient Malvern Hills a scene of rolling countryside, tranquil rivers, historic towns and villages linked by a network of quiet lanes and byways - what better way to appreciate all of this than from a bicycle.

Cycling allows you to travel at your own pace, amidst the black and white timbered framed buildings in the north of the area to the fruit and vegetable growing country of the Vale of Evesham - (why not follow the signs for the Blossom Trail?) to the honey coloured wonders of the Cotswolds.

Whether you are looking for a week long cycle tour, a day in the saddle discovering some of the area's lesser known gems, or exploring "off the beaten track", Worcestershire's Heritage Garden has something for you. Cycling allows you to travel at your own pace, to go where the car cannot, it is flexible, healthy, environmental friendly and above all FUN.
