Worcestershire has a dedicated network of paths that make cycling around the county easy and enjoyable. The network is made up of parts of the National Cycle Network, both on road and off-road, as well as local paths providing links to places such as schools and shops. We produce a range of maps to promote these facilities, which can be viewed from our cycling map web page.
The National Cycle Network (NCN) offers miles of cycle routes on quiet county lanes and traffic free paths, using easy to follow route signs and connecting towns and villages throughout the United Kingdom.
The county council is interested in ideas from members of the public to improve the cycling network in Worcestershire. We currently operate a scoring system for prioritising future projects, which includes assessments based on value for money, deliverability, support and demand. If you would like to make a suggestion, with community and councillor support if possible, please email us or call 01905 766786. Projects that we have recently completed can be viewed from our cycling projects page.
