County Council retains "four stars and improving well" rating

The Council's annual Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) Direction of Travel star rating has just been annouced and once again we are an Excellent 4 Star authority with our Direction of Travel judged to be 'Improving Well'

Each year the Audit Commission gives all county and unitary authorities a rating from one to four stars based on performance in all areas of service provision, along with a Direction of Travel (DoT).

The Council has retained its Four Stars -‘Improving Well’ (DoT) rating for the third year running

Message from the Leader of the Council, Cllr George Lord

"This is an outstanding performance since this is now the third year we have achieved this excellent result. Credit must go to all staff and elected members, so well done everyone!"
