Labour Market Profiles

We are please to be able to provide Labour Market Profiles for the local authority districts in Worcestershire which provide an overview of key labour market information. At present, profiles are available for local authority areas but it is hoped other geographies will be available in the future.

The local authority profiles bring together data from a range of official sources including population estimates, Local Area Labour Force Survey, Jobseekers Allowance claimants, New Earnings Survey (NES) and VAT registrations. Limited non-confidential Annual Business Inquiry data is also available without the need for a Chancellor of Exchequer's Notice.

The profiles are taken directly from the main Nomis database so we will be able to upload new profiles as they become available There is also a definitions section at the end of the report which provides an explanation of the sources used along with definitions of variables.
