which has run for over 20 years, gives you the opportunity to study a topic of your choice in depth
over 20 weeks in the company of other enthusiastic people. Beginners are welcome and an experienced
local historian will be your tutor to guide you each week.

Ancestry website, available free in the History Centre, has a wealth of information available to help
you with your family history, but how do you know how to make the most of it? Get tips based on
our experiences. There are two different sessions, a guide to the census, and one looking at the other
sources. You can come to both or just one.

out about how the census was created, the pitfalls and search tips.

and get expert advice from Record Office staff. Sessions are held aboard the Library Comput@bus and
places are free but need to be booked in advance at the host library.

A free programme of documentaries, news reels and home-movies, offering
a window on Worcestershire’s history. This is part of a Heritage Lottery Funded project promoting
the archive films from Worcestershire Record Office and the Media Archive for Central England, presented
by 7 inch cinema.
Screenings last approximately 1 hour. There are no
advance tickets available.
