Which Branch to Visit?

The Worcestershire Record Office comprises three branches, the County Hall Branch, the Worcestershire Library & History Centre (or History Centre) and the Corporate Information Management Unit.

  • Enquiries concerning the use of original documents should be referred to the County Hall Branch.
  • Family history enquiries should be referred to the History Centre.
  • The Corporate Information Management Unit is mainly concerned with the managment of records produced by the Worcestershire County Council and therefore is only open to members of staff of the Council.

There are public searchrooms available at the County Hall Branch, and the History Centre for the consultation of sources both county-based and national. If you would like to book to use the facilities at either branch, follow the link on the left or our contact details can be found here.
