Service Delivery Plans

Service delivery plans are a key management tool that help us set a clear direction for each service unit - so that managers and staff know what’s expected of them and Members know what the priorities for the year are.  They help us to:

  • translate and pin down delivery of our priorities, promises and corporate strategies and cascade them down to individual staff through Personal Development Reviews
  • set out key service improvements for the year ahead
  • maintain focus on service delivery
  • manage performance – through regularly monitoring progress and taking action to address poor performance
  • make the key performance measures, risks, financial costs and potential savings of our services explicit.
