Feedback on Summer Events 2006

In 2006 there were 4 weeks of events held, a total of 11 days activities. A questionnaire was taken at random across all the events.

515 questionnaires were completed and the results were as follows.

Comments about the venue

Comments were given on 159 of the 515 questionnaires and these will be considered when booking future events. The comments are summarised below.

• 84% thought the venue was fantastic, perfect, lovely, very good, excellent, very nice, brilliant, fabulous, great or wonderful
• 4% felt it was both entertaining and educational
• 0.5% felt the venues were clean and safe
• 0.5%commented on the bad weather
• 5% requested a cover/shelter
• 3% complained about noisy bulding works (D'wich)
• 3% thought the events in the venues would be bigger (Circus skills & puppets)

There were 162 comments about the Event from the 515 questionnaires taken. The comments are summarised below.

• 84% thought the events were fabulous, lovely, entertaining, good, fine, excellent, fun, fantastic, brilliant, ideal, great, wonderful and well worth it.
• 5% thought the events were well organised
• 4.5% would like more events
• 2.5% thought the events were either too short and too small
• 2% thought the events were educational
• 1% thought the weather ruined the events
• 1% liked the fact that the events were free

Improvements

There were 171 comments about improvements from the 515 questionnaires taken. These are summarised below.

• 12% thought there should be more events
• 12% thought there should be more publicity
• 12% thought the shows should be longer
• 10% thought there should be some sort of shelter/shade
• 10% thought there should br more helpers (circus skills)
• 8% thought we should aim at different ages (puppet show)
• 9% thought the events were good, excellent or perfect
• 8% thought there should be music
• 5% thought the weather spoilt it
• 5% thought there should be refreshments on offer (pershore - Circus Skills and Puppet Show)
• 4% thought there should be bigger mats or seating
• 2% thought  there should be more variey or events should be all day
• 1.5% thought there should be free parking
• 1% preffered last years robots
• 0.5% thought the toilet facilities were bad (Droitwich)
