Comments
Comments were given on 66 of the forms and these will be considered when booking future events. The comments are summarised below based on the 66 given and some people gave more than one comment per form.
- 73% thought that the events were excellent, brilliant, very good or fabulous.
- 20% requested more events for next year.
- 8% commented that the events were well organised.
- 3% were pleased with free events.
- 9% requested more details in the leaflet or on notice boards about the events.
- 1.5% asked if more people could be around to help at events.
- 1.5% were not happy with the toilet facilities.
- 4.5% were concerned over safety issues with children running around the park (specifically related to Titan the robot).
Action Points
- Request for more details in the leaflet has been noted and a brief description of each performance/act booked for next year will feature in the promotional booklet and the posters that will be displayed in the respective parks.
- The point has been noted regarding more people to help. Based on audience figures for 2004 the amount of publicity was increased in 2005 to encourage wider audiences. This worked much better than expected and audience figures quadrupled. The huge increase was not anticipated and so we were unprepared, this was most noticeable on the craft events. To remedy this we will schedule more audience events rather than participatory events.
- The comment regarding the toilet facilities has been forwarded to the relevant section and is being addressed.
- There is always a concern with safety in the parks, however, parents are able to be with their children at all times and so if the children do run around it cannot be deemed the responsibility of Wychavon.
