What is the South Worcestershire Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership?
The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 means that a new partnership has to be formed.
Each partnership has a Community Safety Officer to ensure that crime and disorder reduction projects and policies are being properly carried out. They also have to undertake a comprehensive audit of crime, disorder and drugs issues every three years and develop and implement a 3-year. The most recent Wychavon Strategy started in April 2005 and runs until March 2008.
