Wychavon Community Plan Core Group

Most districts only have one Local Strategic Partnership (LSPs). In Wychavon we’ve created three area based LSPs and a district wide, co-ordinating Community Plan Core Group.

Councillor Audrey Steel chairs the Core Group, which brings together the following partners:

• Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue Service
• Learning and Skills Council, Herefordshire & Worcestershire
• Pershore Market Town Partnership (LSP)

• West Mercia Police
• Worcestershire Association of Local Councils (CALC)
• Worcestershire County Council
• Wychavon District Council

While our LSPs focus on local delivery, the Core Group takes a more strategic role on community planning.  It is responsible for:
