A Parish Plan is a document setting out how a particular village, parish or locality wants to develop over the next ten years or so. It should reflect the views of all sections of the community, obtained through local consultation. It also includes a plan of action setting out how the priorities will be addressed.
As of November 2007 there are 19 parish plans under preparation, 14 have been completed and 12 have been adopted as Local Information Sources. We're using the completed Parish Plans we've recieved as one of the key evidence sources to identify the priorities
(83.59 KB) for the next Wychavon community plan that we're developing with partners. To help us with this we've put together short summaries of the completed Parish Plans.
We have recently agreed a framework for adopting Parish Plans as a 'local information source' . This means there is now a process in place for the action points in completed Parish Plans to formally influence our work and that of the relevant LSP.
