Reaching out to everyone offers a range of upbeat presentations all about wychavon district council. These are available to community organisations, voluntary groups, local clubs, societies and social networks so you can find out more about our work. If there are things you would like to know about our services or if you’d just like to find out more about how we can help you, call Rob to arrange a convenient time when we can come to you..
A new selection of presentations are now available for 2006 including:
- Whirlwind tour of services - This covers all the key services that we provide and answers the questions that you would like to ask. From ‘where is wychavon?’ right through to ‘where does your council tax go?’ all of the answers are provided. If you only thought that the district council collects rubbish then think again as this is just the tip of the iceberg. Find out more about the services, the places and the people all in one easy to follow presentation
- Improving the environment -this focuses on how our services are helping to improve the environment. It takes an in depth look at waste collection, recycling and other environmental services.
- Enhancing community life - looking at how we are working to improve community life across the district in both rural and urban areas through initiatives such as parish plans, LSPs and community grants.
- Making a difference - focusing on how you can make a difference in your community to make the area an even better place to live
- Safer communities - providing information about our community safety work and how our neighbourhoods are becoming even more safe and sound
- Diversity in the district - a look at what makes the area unique, our changing population and the variety of lifestyles and cultures in the area and how our services focus on the needs of the community.
