3 Month Nuisance Out-Of Hours Service

We are re-starting our out of hours service on Saturday June 7^th 2008

One of our officers will be on standby to deal with ‘emergency’ Environmental Health issues between 9pm and 1am on Saturday nights only.

We expect that these will mainly be urgent noise nuisance cases, although we will also be able to respond to any other 'emergency' Environmental Health issues (see the list below).

Between these hours you should ring Worcester Telecare on 0845 0568035 They will then pass the details to our emergency stand-by officer.

List of emergency EH services available Out of Hours

• Noise Nuisance complaints (noise from private property such as loud music, continuously activating audible intruder (burglar or car) alarms, industrial/ commercial establishments, may also include raves etc
• Other Nuisances such as smells, smoke, dust, blocked private sewers.
• Any other public-health related enquiry, including food safety and health & safety at work.

Please Note

• We cannot investigate noise in the street, drunken behaviour etc. Such issues are the responsibility of the Police.
• This out of hours service does not cover pest control or dog related problems.
