Wychavon's Customer Service Team has once again achieved the prestigious Charter Mark Award , for providing excellent service at its Contact Centres in Evesham, Pershore and Droitwich.
The Contact Centres were one of the first organisations in the County to achieve the award in 1996, and they have retained it at each subsequent assessment, the last in 2007, by showing continuous improvements.
Several elements of the service have been highlighted as Best Practice, including the partnership working at Evesham with the Town Council and the Police, and the way in which the Blue Badge scheme is run.
These examples appear on the Cabinet Office Best Practice website.
Some of the assessor's comments were " excellent staff who are professional and highly motivated", "inspirational leadership at all levels" and "extremely high levels of customer satisfaction".
