From 1st August, the new CON29 (2007 Edition) will be introduced. The new CON29 will comprise Required and Optional parts and now customers can submit Optional questions individually if required. Each part is a standalone product that can be ordered separately.
Clients who wish to discover all relevant information may still submit both parts together, though they will not have to be submitted at the same time after 1st August.
The new Question 22 on the new CON29 Optional form is designed for common land enquiries, but for a temporary period DEFRA has decided to retain the existing CR21 form. Please contact the Worcestershire County Council if you would like further clarification about the difference between Question 22 and the CR21 form.
This is asking how many entries there are in the Register, generally each part of the register is requested to be searched, but specific parts can specified if required.
See section on search information required
The Con. 29 is divided into two parts and contains questions.
Part I
These relate to information or new proposals known relating to the property, for example on road schemes, proposed enforcement action, planning history etc. The LLC1 and Con.29 Part I form the basic Standard Search.
Part II
Also contains questions but these require an additional fee and you need to familiarise yourself with these and ensure you discuss with your Solicitor, which, if any you need to ask. They include footpaths, highway, and informal notice questions to name a few. Part II Enquiries incur an additional fee.
See section on search information required
If you wish to ask any additional enquiries, it is advisable for your Solicitor to check before submitting the search, to see if we are able to provide a reply. These questions also require an additional fee.
