Recycle Furniture and Household Items

If you have furniture and household items that are in good condition you can offer them to local charities or charity shops.  This is a great alternative to landfill and can also help someone else.  Here are a few examples:

Armchair - Collect from Worcester area only

Armchair is a charity based in Worcester offering a free service in Worcester, collecting good quality furniture and household effects for distribution to people in need.

Check List:

• upholstered furniture/beds - must have fire retardant label
• good condition - clean and not damaged
• no electrical or gas items/carpets/clothing/prams/child safety seats

Roundabout - Collection from Wychavon area

Roundabout is a small charity based in Evesham offering a free service throughout Wychavon, collecting good quality furniture and household effects for distribution to people in need.  The charity has assisted many thousands of families and has removed hundreds of tonnes of furniture from the waste system.  They provide another useful service to the community by offering placements for the unemployed, those recovering from illness or suffering from disabilities to acquire new skills and to rejoin a working environment.

St. Richards's Hospice Charity Shops

St. Richards Hospices charity shops are based in Pershore, Evesham and Droitwich offering a free service in the Wychavon area, collecting good quality furniture and household effects to raise funds for St. Richards Hospices.

This charity shop sells anything and everything including household effects and second user white goods which have been reconditioned.  Collection is free and a delivery charge into Worcester would cost £5.
