Special collections of waste items can be arranged at a charge. Units are currently charged at £16.50. This service provides for waste items not collected on the free bulky waste service and for people who have used up their free units.
There is no limit to the number of units we can collect, however for large quantities of waste or items not listed please arrange a quote. Where a quote is required the contractor will make a site visit to assess the waste.
We are unable to give a specific date for collection. The item should be put out for collection by 7.00am on the first working day following payment. Loose waste should be in sacks / containers or bundled ready for collection. Collection should be completed within 5 working days for most items, and within 10 working days for fridges and freezers.
For insurance purposes we do not normally collect from within the house, however if you are physically unable to leave the item outside please advise us of this when you call.
Fridges and freezers are charged by size as follows:
| Upright fridges and fridge-freezers | Units |
| Under counter fridge or freezer | 1 unit |
| Upright fridge or fridge-freezer ¾ height | 1.5 units |
| Upright fridge or fridge-freezer double height | 2 units |
| Chest Freezers | Units |
| Under counter single width | 1 unit |
| Upright chest freezer ¾ height | 1.5 units |
| Double width or double height | 2 units |
Alternatively householders may take fridges and freezers free of charge to the Civic Amenity Sites at Hill and Moor near Throckmorton, and Hanbury Road near Droitwich.
