County Sports Awards 2007

The County Sports Partnership Awards were held at The Bank House in Bransford on March 6th to celebrate the sporting achievements of those across the county. Wychavon were represented by 7 outstanding individuals who had been successful at the Wychavon Sports Awards in Feb 2007. Sue Davies, John Brookes, Pershore Tennis Club, Droitwich Rugby Club, Clare Elwell, David Hyde and Evesham Rowing Club all represented Wychavon at the awards with success coming from Evesham Rowing Club junior under 16 Squad.

Held by the Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire, nominees and their guests were joined by Sinclair Thomas, Wheelchair Basketball player and Bronze Paralympian. All blacks International and Worcester Warriors 1st Team Player, Rico Gear and local Young Sporting Ambassadors. The annual Sports Awards recognise and celebrate the wealth of achievement and dedication from all sectors of sport across the two counties.
