Waste Recycling Environmental Limited (WREN)

WREN is fully committed to the provision of grants under the terms and conditions of the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme. By doing so they aim to enhance the social environment, natural conservation and heritage aspects of the world in which we live and create a beneficial and lasting legacy for future generations. Project applications which demonstrate self help, viability, sustainability and offer benefits to large numbers of people receive priority for funding. Below are two examples of funding currently available

  • The delivery of biodiversity conservation for UK species or habitats
  • The maintenance, repair or restoration of a building or other structure, which is a place of religious worship or of historic or architectural interest.

WRG Village Hall & Community Centre Challenge Village Halls and Community Centres perform a wide range of vital functions and help deliver community cohesion and unity. In many instances they are the only place for community activity and are therefore essential places to be used and enjoyed by a considerable number and wide range of voluntary and charitable organisations. From pensioners? luncheon clubs to sports organisations, mothers and toddlers clubs and many other special interest groups these halls provide a base for their activities. These in turn draw people together and allow them to work for the benefit of the wider community.
