Environmental Services undertake the Council’s work on contaminated land
The Government introduced Part IIA of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, inserted by the Environment Act 1995 as legislation to tackle the legacy of Contaminated Land. This legislation, known as the Contaminated Land Regime gives us responsibilities to deal with Contaminated Land. Our Contaminated Land Inspection Strategy outlines the way in which Wychavon is looking to do this. This document also summarises all the different activities undertaken by us in this area of work.
