We are looking for someone to work as part of a team tackling land drainage issues. Dealing with the public and achieving improvements to land drainage through cooperation and persuasion. You must also be prepared to take enforcement action where this fails!
Successful candidates will have experience in drainage or environmental maintenance and have a BTEC in Civil Engineering or a similar environmental qualification.
You must also be computer literate and have a full driving licence.

Wychavon District Council has been successful in attracting funding to employ a Sports Activator within the local area.
The Sports Activator will work as part of the Sports Development Team across a range of clubs, schools and community settings. The successful candidate will be required to help deliver the National 5 Hour Offer to children and young people. The 5 Hour Offer involves young people having the ability to access 5 hours of sport and physical activity per week from within and beyond the curriculum.
The successful candidate will be educated to A level standard or equivalent and will have a minimum of a National Governing Body Level II or equivalent in sport. All applicants will have to demonstrate experience of working in a coaching role with young people of mixed ability in a variety of settings, the planning and implementation of schemes and initiatives, coupled with experience of their monitoring and evaluation.
All applicants will need to possess
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills.
- Demonstrate experience of working in a coaching role
- Be available evening and weekends
- National Governing Body Level 2 or equivalent in sport
- Ability to travel between sites.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
The successful candidate will be subject to Enhanced CRB clearance
