Arts Council England
Arts Council England is the national development agency for the arts. The Gambling Commission

The Gambling Commission was set up under the Gambling Act 2005 andwas formally established in October 2005.
It has taken over the role previously played by the Gaming Board for Great Britain in regulating casinos, bingo, gaming machines and lotteries.

The Commission also has responsibility for the regulation of betting and remote gambling, as well as helping to protect children and vulnerable people from being harmed or exploited by gambling. The Commission is also responsible for advising local and central government on issues related to gambling.

Generator – Popular Music Development Agency [For NE England LAs only?]
Generator, based in Newcastle Upon Tyne is the North’s popular music development agency. It was set up as a voluntary organisation in the early 1990’s with the aim of developing a healthier and more sustainable popular music industry in the North East and Cumbria. In particular, it seeks to help music business as well as musicians and songwriters of all ages to develop their careers and music through the provision of ongoing support, advice, events/activities, and educational work. National Campaign for the Arts (NCA)
The NCA is the only independent lobbying organisation that represents all the arts. The campaign is funded entirely by its members to ensure its independence. It gives a voice for the arts. The membership of the campaign includes nearly five hundred organisations. Performing Right Society Ltd (PRS)
PRS collects licence fees for the public performance (and broadcasting) of copyright musical works. It distributes these royalties to its members – writers and publishers of music – and to affiliated societies worldwide. Phonographic Performance Ltd is the UK collecting society for record companies and performers. PPL licenses radio stations, TV stations and other broadcasters who use sound recordings in their sound transmissions.
