Yellow lines - Disabled badge holders are permitted to park on yellow lines for up three hours as long as the vehicle is not causing an obstruction. The blue badge cannot be used in the event of a loading ban. (This is normally indicated by one or two yellow marks on the kerb or the times shown on a sign) The disabled badge and clock must be clearly displayed with the clock set to the arrival time.  Vehicles that are parked on yellow lines without displaying a clock set to the arrival time should expect to receive a Penalty Charge Notice.

Please check the 'Blue Badge Scheme' booklet for additional terms of use.

How to display your badge and clock

The disabled badge must be displayed showing the expiry date and serial number.  The Civil Enforcement Officer must be able to verify the validity of the disabled badge.  In the event that the Civil Enforcement Officer cannot see the expiry date of the badge, a Penalty Charge Notice may be issued.

The parking clock must be displayed in areas which has a time limit for disabled badge holders such as yellow lines or time sensitive disabled bays.  The clock must be set to your time of arrival.
