Resident Parking Permits
- Resident permits are only available for the following properties in Albert Road, Evesham.
Only available to properties: 1,2,4,6,7,8,9,10,12,14,16,18,20.
- There is a charge of £40.00 per annum per vehicle for a residents parking permit and only two are permitted for each property. One vehicle permit and a visitor permit can be issued for each property.
- A vehicle registration document and proof residency is required for the issue of a vehicle permit. If a visitor permit is required, proof of residency will need to provided.
- A parking permit will enable the holder to park the vehicle (for which the permit is issued) in the side of length of road sign posted as 'Resident permit holders only'.
- A permit does not allow the holder to reserve a specific parking place and therefore does not assure the holder that he/she will be able to park outside his/her residence.
- The permit holder must be the registered owner or keeper of the vehicle for which the permit is issued. The vehicle registration document must accompany any application
- The permit is issued for a period of twelve months only. Responsibility for the renewal of the permit (if applicable) rests with the permit holder.
- Permits should be displayed on the front or nearside of the vehicle for which it has been issued, clearly showing the particulars of the permit.
- A permit must be surrendered if:-
(a) the holder is no longer a resident;
(b) the holder ceases to own or keep the vehicle for which it has been issued;
(c) The vehicle no longer carries a valid road tax licence.
- Wychavon District Council may withdraw a parking permit if it appears that any of the above events have occurred.
- If the permit is returned with a remaining period outstanding, a refund will be considered
- A duplicate parking permit may be issued if the permit is lost or destroyed. (An administration fee may be charged)
