How To Search For A Planning Application
Note: It is not necessary to complete all the boxes to perform a search.
Planning application number is known
If you know the application no. (i.e. W/03/02392/DW) then you can search for this directly.
- Ignore the leading letter (W in our example) and enter the number following the / in the Case Year box (in this example 03).
- The five digit number after the next / is the case number and this should be entered in to the Case No box (in this example 02392).
- Next change the dates at the bottom so that it will cover the date of the application (if the application was in the last six months these can be left as they are).
- Finally click on Submit to search.
The applicant or agent is known
If you know who the applicant is you can search on this.
- Type the surname or the organisation name in the Applicant box (e.g. wychavon or smith).
- Similarly if the agent is known then type the surname or organisation name of the agent in the Applicant box.
- Change the dates at the bottom, if necessary, so that they will cover the date of the applicaton.
- Finally click on Submit to search.
Searching on location address
To search on the location address.
- Enter part or all of the address in the the Location Address box (in our example we could search on Abbey Park or Abbey Park, Evesham).
- Change the dates at the bottom to cover the date of the application.
- Finally click on Submit to search.
Searching between two dates
It is possible to search for all applications between two dates.
- Select the date from and to at the bottom of the search page.
- Click on Submit.
- Note: Each month searched will list upwards of 150 applications so large date range searches will produce lots of results.
