Bulky Household Waste Collection

Do you have bulky items which need to be collected?

We offer a FREE service for a limited number of items to all households.  Each household is entitled to have one collection in each six-month period between January 1st – June 30th and July 1st – December 31st.

You can request a collection of up to two units in each six monthly collection.  For a full list of items included in the free service and their unit value click here to see the Bulky Waste list.

Some items such as fridges and freezers are chargeable.  Please see Special Collections

What happens next?

Items will be collected within ten working days.  A specific date will be given.  The items must be placed for collection outside your home as close to the highway as possible but still on your property.

The items must be outside ready for collection between 7.00am and 5pm.

For insurance purposes Focsa Services do not normally collect from within the house.  However, if you are physically unable to leave the item outside please advise the contractor of this when you call.

Disposal

Alternatively you can take bulky items to the Civic Amenity Sites at Hill and Moor near Throckmorton and Hanbury Road, Droitwich free of charge. There are skips and storage areas where householders may leave items for recycling or disposal.
