My Services

Education

We have undertaken a range of activities in schools to promote recycling and raise awareness of waste issues.  For the younger children we engage a clown troupe to introduce the importance of recycling and litter prevention.  For all young peoples groups we have a poster competition focused on waste prevention (reduce, reuse and recycle).  And for the last couple of years we have been working closely to support schools as they work towards becoming Sustainable/Eco Schools.  For more information click on the County Council web page Sustainable/Eco Schools.  We  also work with Welcome to Our Future a local environmental charity on recycling awareness campaigns through radio adverts, posters, bus back advertising and talks to schools.  For more information on these topics click below:
