CLOWN TROUPE

We are keen to get the recycling message across to all our young residents and we sponsor a clown troupe "Bozo and Zizi” to visit eight first schools (free of charge) each year.  The show is very popular and teaches the pupils about waste and recycling as well as not to drop litter.  The clown show is aimed at 7-12 year olds and has a wonderful way of holding the interest of all ages.

Letters are sent to schools in March to enable applications to be processed for the shows in April.  We operate a waiting list and rotate the schools who apply to ensure that as many pupils as possible get a chance to see the show.

The maximum audience is 200 pupils.  The show lasts approximately 40-45 minutes.  The preferred performance area size is 15’ x 12’ with a height of 9’ but a stage is not necessary as the performance benefits from being on the same level as the audience.  One 13 amp socket is required.
