Welfare and Money Advice

If you need FREE debt or money advice or are unsure of what benefits to claim, why not make an appointment with our Welfare Benefits & Money Advisor – Andy Poppleton.

Appointments can be made in person or by phone at:

If you can’t get to any of these places, for instance because of a disability, then an appointment can be made for Andy to visit you at home. E-mail revenues@wychavon.gov.uk or telephone (01386) 565130 to book a home visit. If Andy isn't available when you call, he will contact you as soon as he can to book the appointment.

Andy has already helped people in Wychavon:

  • secure thousands of pounds in extra benefits
  • deal with their debts and find ways of reducing them
  • who were faced with eviction, stay in their homes.

You can get FREE information on benefits by visiting the Department for Work & Pensions website. or the Citizens Advice Bureau Adviceguide website where you can also get advice on dealing with debts.
