Do you want to develop new skills or further your interest in
archives or archaeology? By volunteering at the Worcestershire
Archive and Archaeology Service you can:
- Increase your knowledge of and skills in archive and
- Develop new skills, such as IT, reading maps, reading old
handwriting and research skills
- Be part of a team of enthusiastic volunteers and meet new

- Make a valuable contribution to the work of the Archive and
At present we have a full complement of volunteers and are not
able to accept any more requests, but you can download a list of
the types of
projects that we run and what's involved (PDF 44 KB).
Following our move to The Hive we are in the process of
developing additional volunteer projects, and these will be
available by the end of 2013. In the meantime if you want to
fill in a volunteer registration form we would be very happy
to keep your name on a waiting list and will contact you as new
projects become available - form download are available below.
Anyone can volunteer and no previous experience is required as
we will provide full training for the project you will
undertake. Times are arranged to suit you and us. Even
if you are working, we can accommodate.

alternatively it can be posted to The Hive. We will then contact you to
discuss which of our projects would best suit you.
